There is never such thing as too much or too little when renovating a house, we should always stick to our budget and try to fix some things that are more important than others. In our house we had carpets and vinyl, changing it was number one in our to-do list. It gives a complete different look and if you do the labour yourself, materials are not so expensive.There are variety of different materials of flooring out there,again it always depends on your budget.

  One of the things people also notice when entering in a house is staircase, it creates the first home impression and a warm welcome at the entryway. Carpets in the stairs are pretty safe, especially when having little ones in the house, but quiet outdated and dust collector, so if you have the budget and the time just get rid of the carpets.

What also made a big difference in the house, was changing the trims.New doors, door case, baseboards and we also added the crown moulding which made a wonderful change in the house.
